“Here at SNG Barratt, we have a range of our own fabrication facilities but there are occasions where we cannot make something in-house”, says Julian Barratt. “In these cases, we are fortunate to be situated just on the edge of the UK manufacturing heartland and we have a great network of trusted suppliers within 50 miles of where we are located. In a case such as these timing guides, which are a crucial part of the engine, it is imperative that we are able to work closely with our supplier to be able to bring the best quality product that we can to the market – and this is easiest to achieve when we use suppliers who are on our doorstep.” – Julian Barratt, CEO
